Application date extended for Scottish Microbiology Association bursary

The Scottish Microbiology Association (SMA) has launched two annual bursary schemes for members.

A £1000 bursary, is for one biomedical scientist SMA member intended to support formal further education.

A £600 bursary is for any non-consultant grade SMA member to use towards any course/further study/conference relevant to Microbiology.

Please note, applications must be SMA members to be eligible to apply, and must have attended at least one SMA scientific meeting prior to applying.

Successful applicants will present the outcome of their study at the AGM. Applications must be original and entirely the applicant’s own work. The application must be received by the Secretary by 5 pm on the closing date, Friday 24th February 2017.
