If you are a woman in the field of biomedical science, consider applying for the Chief Scientific Officer’s WISE Fellowship.

This programme offers leadership experience for mid-career healthcare scientists. The successful applicant will be chosen based on their commitment to inspire future scientists and their potential to make a difference in their profession.

This career development programme includes

• WISE membership
• Mentoring from senior influencers in healthcare, industry and academia
• Coaching sessions at the six and 12 month stages of the Fellowship
• Speaking opportunities via the healthcare science and WISE networks
• Attendance at the WISE Conference and National Chief Scientific Officer’s 2018 Conference
• Access to the self-assessment tools of the NHS Healthcare Leadership Model

Eligibility

To qualify you must be a practicing healthcare scientist with at least 5 years’ experience in your field. You must work in an NHS Trust or private provider of NHS diagnostic services in England, and have your employer’s consent to be released on full pay for the compulsory training days, should you be accepted.
