Celebrating Healthcare Science Week!
Healthcare science week is an annual week-long programme to promote the amazing work of healthcare scientists. Taking place from 10-19 March, NHS Trusts and professional healthcare organisations will hold public events to inform and educate the public about what some of these professionals do, and celebrate the differences they make in patients’ lives.
It is estimated that science and technology contribute to 80% of patient diagnoses. With over 50 NHS healthcare science specialisations, why not learn about some at this week’s public events?
This week’s events include:
St John’s Institute of Dermatology
