Danny's week on @NHS
Last week, Danny Gaskin took over the @NHS Twitter handle and did a great job of promoting the work of biomedical scientists in the UK. Over the course of five days, his tweets reached an audience of 1.9 MILLION people, with over 1,500 likes a day. This is great news for the profession - as it means that the general public are becoming more and more aware of how biomedical science is at the heart of their healthcare.
There was a lot of conversation and a lot of information so, each day, we pared down the swell of public engagement, collected the best of the tweets and gathered them into a Twitter moment. If you missed out, here's your chance to catch up.
