IBMS highly commended for new membership routes

The MemCom Awards recognise excellence in membership organisation communications and celebrates best practice across the membership sector.

The IBMS’ new routes to membership were nominated in the MemCom Award's Member Recruitment category for the development and promotion of the Institute's new membership criteria.

Changes to the Institute's membership criteria in 2014 provided clear and concise guidelines, reflecting both the academic and vocational achievements of IBMS members and offering enhanced services, greater opportunities for involvement and access to additional IBMS qualifications as members progress through IBMS membership grades.

The judges at the Awards ceremony on Thursday 21st April were impressed with the highly targeted campaign, encouraging members to take advantage of the opportunities for progression offered by the new criteria based on their academic as well as vocational qualifications.
