IFBLS Alternate GAD and Chief Delegates Meeting
The 15th and 16th September 2017 will mark the meeting of Chief Delegates of the International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists (IFBLS) and the Alternate General Assembly of Delegates.
During this meeting a preliminary programme and plenary lectures of the upcoming IFBLS Congress 2018 will be presented.
The IFBLS Congress 2018 will be the 33rd World Congress of Biomedical Laboratory Science, held in Florence, Italy. The theme will focus on the future development of Biomedical Laboratory Science.
IBMS Executive Head of Education Alan Wainwright is a member of the IFBLS Board of Directors and Chairman of the IFBLS Scientific Committee. At the IFBLS Congress 2018 he will chair the session on Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
As part of this programme IBMS Deputy CEO Sarah May has also been invited to speak about CPD audit as a means for identifying examples of good professional practice but also for recognising and addressing poor performance.
