NW London Pathology Excels at UKEXA Awards
29 May 2024
IBMS member Saghar Missaghian-Cully Named Leader of the Year at UK Employee Experience Awards.

On May 23, 2024, North West London Pathology, one of the largest NHS pathology providers in the UK, stood out at the UK Employee Experience Awards.

The UK Employee Experience Awards stand as a platform for recognising excellence in employee experience (EX) across various sectors. Their mission is to provide deserving winners with acknowledgement, learning, and networking opportunities to facilitate growth and development within the workforce.

Saghar Missaghian-Cully, Managing Director for North West London Pathology, was awarded the Gold Award for Leader of the Year.

Expressing her gratitude, Saghar stated,

"I’m incredibly honoured to receive the Leader of the Year award. Competing against leaders from large private sector organisations makes this recognition even more special. This award is a fantastic opportunity to showcase not just the NHS but also the field of biomedical science and laboratory diagnostics. Starting my career as a biomedical scientist and now serving as Managing Director of a multi-award-winning pathology service is a journey of which I am proud."

Saghar continued,

"Of course, it’s a tremendous accolade to receive such a prestigious award for my success as a leader, but it's hugely important to recognise that without the dedicated and passionate team and our staff at NWLP whom I have the pleasure of working with, inspiring me everyday, this would not be possible. It’s a dream team all the way!"

In addition to Saghar's individual recognition, North West London Pathology secured the Silver award for their innovative onboarding program in the Best Employee Experience Journey category. This further highlights the organisation's commitment to fostering a supportive work environment and nurturing talent within the healthcare sector.

Congratulations to North West London Pathology for showcasing excellence in leadership, teamwork, and innovation in healthcare.
